Operating out of Oakland, Keena's Kitchen is a holistic Soul Food catering company that seeks to transform the image of Soul Food by bringing to light that Soul Food isSlow Food; and by it's very nature is organic, local and sustainable. We bring each of these elements, from the farmland to the plate and remain conscious of our client's health in the preparation process.

While the cuisine offered at Keena’s Kitchen is rooted in a Louisiana Creole style we have managed to bring a sweet California twist to our menus; creating our trademark cuisine, .  This blend of vibrant California produce, dairy and meats matched with Creole based techniques produces a colorful array of fresh, seasonal meals--a tasty, elegant marriage of California cuisine and Southern Soul Food yielding holistic specialty dishes inspired by a profuse variety of Pan-African and Californian approaches to cooking.
